How You Can HelpHelp us, help the animals!!!The Humane Society of Erie County does not receive any city, county, or public funding. Our shelter operates solely on donations from kind & compassionate animal lovers like you. In 2007, our shelter took in over 1500 unwanted dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and hamsters.  Volunteer Today! Please consider becoming a member of the HSEC.
Your donation will help us to continue to take care of, and find good homes for, all of Erie County’s homeless animals.
With membership, you will receive 6 issues of the HSEC bi-monthly newsletter. Remember someone you love with a memorial gift.
Each relationship we share in life is special and finding the right way to express love and sympathy can be difficult.
A donation that supports the Humane Society of Erie County’s services to our community’s many homeless animals is a wonderful way to honor the memory of a loved one. An acknowledgement will be sent to whomever you specify.
Donations of any amount are appreciated. What a wonderful way to remember your or someone else's beloved pet. Include the HSEC & its many lovable animals in your will.None of us can live forever, but there is something very profound about knowing that the things you care about during your life will be supported even after your lifetime. Your good works & compassion for animals can continue long after you’re gone when you remember the Humane Society of Erie County in your will. Because we are a 501©3 non-profit organization, there are also estate planning benefits to including us. Ask your attorney about these benefits. Donate items to the shelter from our wish list.
Items on our wish list are things needed & used daily at the shelter.
Any item donated to the shelter saves us from having to buy that item with our very limited funds. Volunteer your time at the shelter.
Projects are varied. We believe there is something to interest everybody.
Spend time in our shelter & with our animals.
Both you and the animals will surely benefit from it. |
