Adoption Procedures

If you are ready to make a lifetime commitment to a pet, please come in and see the wonderful animals we have for adoption. We invite all prospective adopters to visit the dogs and cats in our Shelter and spend sometime with them in our "Get-Acquainted" areas. After you've found the right pet, you'll meet with our adoption counselor and complete our adoption application. (Please note: If you live in a rental property, you must provide a copy of your lease agreement at the time of the adoption or a telephone number where your landlord can be reached so we can verify that the species, breed and size of the animal you wish to adopt is allowed.)

Our mission is to find a permanent home for every adoptable animal in our care. All incoming animals are evaluated for health and temperament prior to being placed up for adoption.

Adoption Fees

Our adoption fees are $60.00 for cats and dogs. Some very special kittycats are available for a reduced adoption rate of $30.00

Return policy

We will always take a pet back in order to find a new permanent home for the pet for any reason, we can not however, refund for a failed adoption. We will only refund the adoption fee for a veterinarian diagnosed medical reason only.

"We reserve the right to deny any adoption if there is any question as to whether the animal will be receiving a good home."
