Available Dogs

Sammy is a 6 month old, Dachshund mix and weighs about 25# pounds. He recently had to have one of his legs amputated after a scary injury that happened before he entered shelter life, but that doesn't slow him down one bit! Sammy is a sweet, happy friendly puppy who is looking for someone who wants to take this active man on adventures. He loves kids, cats, other dogs and car rides. Sammy also enjoys kicking back on the couch and watching TV (especially football) on lazy days. He loves spending time in staff/volunteer and fosters laps and is content being lazy or active. Sammy is currently in foster and would be a great companion for anyone in a family environment, or solo!
